Brand Development & Implementation

Everyone knows how important brand identity is to the game of football so we were intrigued to help Al Bidda SC revamp their identity. Al Bidda SC is a Qatari football team and plays in the Qatari Second Division. We were asked to create a contemporary and easily recognisable identity which reflects the excitement of sport, had an energetic feel and referenced the club’s Qatari origins. The new Al Bidda SC identity is a contemporary customised Arabic wordmark design, based on the fusion of Kufi calligraphy and sharp edges that represent determination and progress. The focal graphic element of the visual language is a custom-made pattern with geometrical shapes that reflect energy and strength.
